Paul Agyei Amponsah is an astute Banker with over 13 years’ experience in Banking serving in several capacities including Accounts/Back Office staff, Branch Manager, Unit Head, and Internal Auditor. Prior to joining the Banking Sector, Paul had worked as an Accountant of some Private Companies including Michael Adjei Company Limited (Unilever Key Distributor), and FRALENA Health Products. Paul also worked as a Teacher at Aboabo No.2 Methodist Junior High School in the Adansi North District from 2006 to 2010. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants – Ghana (ICA-GH) and holds MBA Accounting from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Bachelor of Commerce from University of Cape Coast, and HND Accounting from Sunyani Polytechnic (Now Sunyani Technical University). Prior to joining OARB Plc, Paul was the Deputy Head of Internal Audit of Upper Amenfi Rural Bank Plc. He also served as the Chairman of Managers Association of Financial Institutions – Dunkwa-On-Offin (MAFID) from September, 2016 to March, 2017. Currently, Paul is serving as the Chairman of the of Western North Regional Coordinating Council (WNRCC) Audit Committee.
