BOARD MEMBER
Richard Opoku Mensah is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy research, strategy development, and project management. With a robust background in both the public and private sectors, Richard currently serves as a Technical Analyst in the Office of the Minister for Finance, Ghana, where he provides crucial analytical support and recommendations for national economic policies.
His prior experience includes his role as Senior Management Consultant at KPMG, where he led strategy development and market entry projects for private and public sector entities, including major financial institutions locally and outside the country. He has a Master of Philosophy in Operations Management from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast, alongside professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
Richard’s dedication to excellence has earned him several accolades, including the KPMG Ayekoo Award and CIMA Top Performer recognition for multiple papers. He brings a strategic, data-driven mindset to every project and is committed to driving growth and transformation in Ghana’s financial sector.
In addition to his professional achievements, Richard has a passion for teaching and lecturing and is a passionate advocate for continuous learning and development. He is excited to contribute his expertise to the Board of Okomfo Anokye Rural Bank.
