Manu Raphael Agyarko is a development planner & community development practitioner with 28 years of experience in project planning and management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation at the community level. Mr. Agyarko holds a Master of Science Degree in Development Policy and Planning with specialization in Social Sector Policy and Planning. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Resources Development with specialization in Population Studies and Rural Resources Development.

His depth of professional skills and/or field of expertise spans in areas of Development Planning, Social Policy Analysis and Formulation, Project Planning and Management, Institutional Capacity Building, Project Analysis and Appraisal, Communication, Event Management, Leadership, Community Engagement, Fundraising, Proposal Writing, and Personal Security and Safety analysis.

He has tremendous experience working in partnership with community-based organizations, local government entities, NGOs, and multi-lateral donors in reducing poverty through community leadership building, institutional capacity strengthening, provision of livelihood options, socio-economic infrastructure, and access to micro credit. He has crosscutting experience working in the public, quasi- government, private and the NGO sectors.

He has managed the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of numerous community development projects and activities mainly in the areas of; water and sanitation, micro-finance, food security, physical infrastructure projects, income generating projects and capacity building workshops in the areas of local governance, health, education, agriculture and environment, women empowerment, HIV and AIDS for several community- based organizations, communities, and individuals.
